Couples Counselling

Building a Stronger Relationship

You Me Us therapy offers couples in York a safe, neutral space to tackle relationship challenges and build a stronger connection. When communication gets tough or you feel stuck in old patterns, we provide that essential, supportive third party.

Our goal is to help you both gain deep understanding and make positive changes together.

Strengthen Your Intimacy, Trust and Mutual Respect

We identify the relationship’s strengths and focus on setting achievable goals to create immediate, positive shifts in how you interact and feel about each other.

Meet our Specialised Counsellor

In couples counselling, I, Nikki, work in a person-centred way offering empathy, respect and a non-judgemental space. Because there are two people and a relationship to support, sessions may feel more guiding than in individual counselling. This helps ensure both partners feel heard, conversations stay safe and the focus remains on understanding and strengthening the relationship.

Nikki Dunne

Through person-centred counselling, Nikki can help you explore the things that are affecting you and support you to improve how you feel and your day-to-day life. Nikki works with adults and young people aged 14 and over offering sessions in person, online via Zoom and via telephone.
